c-erbB-3/HER-3 is the third member of the type I family of growth factor receptors. It binds to ligands in the heregulin family. c-erbB-3 is over-expressed in a variety of tumors including breast, stomach, pancreas, and colon. Heregulin & EGF stimulate tyrosine phosphorylation of c-erbB-3 to different extents. ||Applications:|Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation and Western Blot.|Other applications not tested.||Recommended Dilution: |Optimal dilution to be determined by researcher.||Positive Control: |T47D or MAD 109 cells. ||Storage and Stability:|Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. ||Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
