Ruxolitinib is a potent and selective Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor with with IC50's of 2.7 and 4.5nm for JAK1 and JAK2, respectively. Displays clinically significant activity in myelofibrosis. Antineoplastic, anti-inflammatory and immunomodulating agent. Affects DC differentiation and function, leading to impaired T cell activation. Used in the treatment of myeloproliferative neoplasms and psoriasis. Anticancer agent.
