MRAP, NT (MRAP, C21orf61, FALP, Melanocortin-2 receptor accessory protein, B27, Fat cell-specific low molecular weight protein, Fat tissue-specific low MW protein) (APC)

MRAP encodes a melanocortin receptor-interacting protein. The encoded protein regulates trafficking and function of the melanocortin 2 receptor in the adrenal gland. The encoded protein can also modulate signaling of other melanocortin receptors. Mutations in this gene have been associated with familial glucocorticoid deficiency type 2.||Applications:|Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other potential application, though not tested is Direct Flow Cytometry. Other applications have not been tested. ||Recommended Dilutions:|Immunohistochemistry: Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections |Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. ||Storage and Stability:|Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.||Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
