CD11b is a 170kD glycoprotein also known as alphaM integrin, Mac-1 alpha subunit, Mol, CR3, and Ly-40. CD11b is a member of the integrin family, primarily expressed on granulocytes, monocytes/macrophages, dendritic cells, NK cells, and subsets of T and B cells. CD11b non-covalently associates with CD18 (beta2 integrin) to form Mac-1. Mac-1 plays an important role in cell-cell interaction by binding its ligands ICAM-1 (CD54), ICAM-2 (CD102), ICAM-4 (CD242), iC3b, and fibrinogen.||Applications: |Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.||Recommended Dilution:|Flow Cytometry: 5ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul staining volume or 100ul whole blood|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.||Storage and Stability:|May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. PerCP conjugates are sensitive to light.
