SNRPD2 is a small nuclear ribonucleoprotein (snRNPs) that comprises the spliceosome in eukaryotes. It is required for pre-mRNA splicing and small nuclear ribonucleoprotein biogenesis. Alternative splicing occurs at this locus and two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified. ||Source:|Recombinant corresponding to human SNRPD2, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E. coli.||Molecular Weight: |~15.6kD||Sequences of Amino Acids:|MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MSLLNKPKSE MTPEELQKRE EEEFNTGPLS VLTQSVKNNT QVLINCRNNK KLLGRVKAFD RHCNMVLENV KEMWTEVPKS GKGKKKSKPV NKDRYISKMF LRGDSVIVVL RNPLIAGK||Storage and Stability:|May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
