Description

BCIP(BCIP p-toluidine salt; X-phosphate p-toluidine salt) is an artificial chromogenic substrate used for the sensitive colorimetric detection of alkaline phosphatase activity[1].

In Vitro

BCIP produces the blue-color enzymatic reaction product BCI during hydrolysis by ALP in HepG2 cell, which has strong SERRS activity and can be used for ALP activity detection[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
