-20°CMatrix metallopeptidase 9 (MMP-9) cleaves collagen types IV and type V and gelatin types 1 and V. MMP-9 has a possible role in local proteolysis of the extracellular matrix and in leukocyte migration (Ref: SWISSPROT). ||Applications: |Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.||Recommended Dilution:|Western Blot: 1ug/ml|Immunohistochemistry (formalin fixed/paraffin embedded tissues): 1ug/ml. Heat mediated antigen retrieval is required.|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.||Storage and Stability:|Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
