SNPXplex® - Identity vigilance kit for NGS
The SNPXplex identity verification kit is a powerful tool for Next generation sequencing, NGS). It enables simultaneous genotyping of 15 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) using allele-specific fluorescent multiplex PCR, along with sex determination. SNPXplex is suitable for various applications, including targeted panels, exomes, and genomes.
SNPXplex: Identity Verification Kit for High-Throughput Sequencing
Recommendations for good practice in high-throughput sequencing agree on the need for an identity verification technique, based on the comparison of the genotypes of several polymorphisms, with the genotypes being obtained independently by high-throughput sequencing (next generation sequencing, NGS) and by a second technique. The SNPXplex is an identity verification kit enabling the simultaneous genotyping of 15 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) by allele-specific fluorescent multiplex PCR and sex determination.
In use since 2017, more than 100,000 NGS sequencing results have already been secured. A technology patented by Assistance Publique - Hôpitaux de Paris (APHP) based on the comparison of genotyping results (NGS vs SNPXplex®) for several polymorphisms.

Comparison of SNPXplex vs NGS genotyping results and genoidentity testing
SNPXplex genotyping data can be exported via the GeneMapper™ Export function.
Use local resources to:
- Compare SNPXplex genotyping results to high-throughput sequencing results on a patient-by-patient basis.
- Search all patients in the series for possible genoidentity between two patients.
